Priority seats are for those who need them
Priority seats (yusenseki) are reserved for elderly passengers, pregnant women, those with injuries, and parents with small children.
Do's
- Offer the seat if someone who needs it boards
- Sit there if no one else needs it, but stay attentive
Don'ts
- Don't use your phone near priority seats (during peak hours)
- Don't pretend not to notice someone who needs the seat
