Business cards deserve respect
If someone offers their meishi (business card), receive it with both hands and read it briefly before putting it away.
Do's
- Accept with both hands
- Take a moment to read the card
- Place it on the table during a meeting
Don'ts
- Don't shove the card into a back pocket
- Don't write on the card in front of the person
